Quality care within the comfort of your home
The Lymphatic System is perhaps the most underrated aspect of our anatomy, acting as the transportation mechanism for the body's healing and immunological processes. It is our body's filtration system, responsible for cleaning our tissues of harmful pathogens and waste products. Poorly functioning lymphatic systems are associated with chronic illness, swelling and inflammation. As an advanced certified lymphatic drainage therapist and nurse here at Texas Lymphatic Clinic, Stormy can assist you in reaching your optimal lymphatic health goals.
Pre-Surgical Manual Lymphatic Drainage
Get your body into peak condition before surgery, heal faster, decrease and soften scar tissue, with MLD. Surgeons find it easier to make an incision through clean, well-drained tissue, particularly in any sort of aesthetic surgery.
We recommend patients have 1 to 2 lymphatic drainage sessions 4 to 2 days prior to the scheduled procedure.

Post-Surgical Manual Lymphatic Drainage
Manual Lymphatic Drainage for plastic surgery patients is a hands-on technique where the purpose is to alleviate the pain, reduce discomfort, reduce swelling/inflammation and prevent imperfections on patients after plastic surgery like “fibrosis”. This is a non-invasive technique that avoids any open wound, incision and skin injuries with or without stitches.
We recommend that patients have 2 MLD sessions per week, for 3 weeks after surgery.
Post-Surgery benefits of Manual Lymphatic drainage
Oncology MLD is a form of personalized drainage designed to safely accommodate the unique and changing needs of the person in, or with a history of, cancer treatment.
We provide, a specialty MLD session for the special needs of a person fighting cancer and cancer survivors.
Lymphatic Oncology MLD does not spread cancer and can be beneficial to patients.
It has been found to be helpful for:
We work closely with breast cancer patients to help for a sped-up recovery and optimal health providing pre and postoperative treatment and information.
The Lymphatic System is part of the overall body’s immune system. MLD treatment can be helpful for fighting autoimmune disease.
The body triggers autoimmune responses to attack foreign bodies such as bacteria, but with autoimmune disease the body mistakenly targets healthy tissue and can cause symptoms similar to a severe allergic reaction.
Rheumatoid arthritis, multiple sclerosis, lupus, hashimoto’s and chronic fatigue are all examples of types of autoimmune diseases which can be treated with lymphatic drainage therapy.
Lymph nodes serve in the immune system in part to help carry white blood cells through the body to help fight illness. Many people suffer from blockage of the lymph nodes which can be a cause for autoimmune disease and our MLD therapy helps to unblock your lymph nodes helping to increase your bodies overall defenses.
If you have been diagnosed with an autoimmune disease such as the ones listed above, contact us to learn about how we can treat the issue using lymphatic drainage therapy for autoimmune disease.

Hello, friends! My name is Stormy Caldwell and I’m a Liscensed Nurse, as well as Advanced Manual Lymphatic Drainage Therapist. You may know me as the former lead therapist at the beloved 5 star Wellness Center - Westlake Lymphatic. I have had the fantastic opportunity to work alongside Cassandra Bradford, up until her retirement, as she has positively touched the lives of many. I also spent 3 years working with expert Ruth Stout, who taught me a great deal regarding the lymphatic system. The journey of pioneering the world of Lymphatics, alongside the greats within the field, has been an incredible experience that I’m forever grateful for.————————————————————————
My passion for helping others led me into the medical field long ago, where I ultimately became a Nurse, and Advanced Lymphatic Drainage Therapist. My nursing background in education includes time spent at both Oral Robert’s University, as well as Weatherford College. During this time, I graduated with Honors, received awards for Clinical Excellence, and most humbling of all, I obtained The Florence Nightingale Award.
After becoming a nurse, I was eager to pave a way within the alternative & holistic world of medicine, as I whole-heartedly believe in the therapies these worlds have to offer, which are safe, effective and don’t pose risk of long-term side effects. The desire to tap into this area of healing, led me into Lymphatic therapies, as I proceeded to then become certified in Dr. Vodder’s technique for Advanced Manual Lymphatic Drainage.
I absolutely love the idea of joining holistic routes of healing with modern medicine, as I now work with both plastic and general surgeons, to provide their patients the best recovery possible.
I personally would have loved to know of these therapies sooner, as I myself have experienced the grueling recovery process after surgery. It often takes much more time than one is prepared for. Although my experience was difficult both physically and emotionally, I’m grateful for the fact that it has prepared me to better care for others today. Through proper manual lymphatic drainage, surgery recovery times are greatly reduced.
Through Lymphatic Therapy, I’ve been fortunate to help many from various backgrounds of health, improve their quality of life - For this reason, I truly love what I do.
